Common types of office visits and prices are listed below.
This is an office visit in which a single medical issue is discussed. It could be a routine follow up appointment, a same day “sick visit” or “urgent visit,” or a visit for an injury requiring skin suturing or splinting/bracing.
An expanded visit is dedicated to the treatment of a more complex medical problem or more than one medical problem. More time is allotted to this visit as it may include labs or studies, dispensing prescriptions, and a detailed discussion between the patient and physician regarding the treatment plan and follow-up.
For a new patient, this serves as an introductory office visit to establish care with our practice. For existing patients, this serves as the annual physical. It may or may not include a well woman exam (pelvic exam, pap smear, and breast exam), and EKG. Your past medical history, as well as current or new medical problems, are reviewed and a head to toe physical exam is performed. Based on your age or individual health risk factors, appropriate labs or studies are ordered. At the conclusion of the visit, you and your physician will discuss your treatment goals and plan of care.
Children are seen at age specific time intervals from 2 weeks of life to the age of 18. These visits are known as “Well Child Checks.” During the visit, the doctor assesses your child’s past medical history, current health, development, growth, nutrition, and safety. There is plenty of time for parents to ask questions and discuss their child’s various growth and development transitions. The child receives an age-appropriate physical examination. We do not offer vaccinations out of our office but will discuss any CDC recommended vaccinations for your child’s age and give resources on where to obtain these vaccines.
Each acupuncture treatment takes about 30 minutes. During the treatment, you will relax in our acupuncture treatment room which is designed to be quiet, comfortable and relaxing so you get the most out of the session. At the conclusion of each treatment, if you would like, the doctor will perform osteopathic manipulative therapy as indicated for your particular condition at no extra charge.
Please Note: Dr. Rader does not prescribe opioids to new patients.
All in office procedures (such as EKG, skin biopsy, skin lesion removal, toe nail removal, skin laceration repair, ear wax removal, cryotherapy, rapid strep or mono tests, pregnancy tests, urine tests, etc.) are individually priced. Please call the office for details.
